My friend Mike, who introduced me to radio controlled aircraft, told me over beers one night at the local pub, that he was becoming interested in model trains again. He had set up a rather large train set for the grandkids at Christmas and it sparked something. The three of us: Mike, Jon and I, planned to head to the Timonium Fair Grounds for The Great Scale Model Train Show. Unfortunetly, I became ill so we postponed the trip until the April show. During my convalescence, I watched Ken Patterson’s What’s Neat (this week) videos on you tube which was quite educational and inspiring.
